Mid-Tennessee Vintage Willys Club ABOUT US The Mid-Tennessee Vintage Willys Club was formed almost two years ago, almost by accident. The exact nature of the club's inception is lost to memory, but involved a local 4x4 shop and a chance internet meeting between a couple of the Nashville area jeep owners. The club is a loose knit, family oriented, group of Willys enthusiasts based in the Nashville, TN area. We get together throughout the year to ride the area trails, enjoy the company of fellow Willys owners and have some fun. While we are based in Tennessee, we have members in Kentucky, Alabama, Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina, Georgia and Ohio and have 60+ people on the club roster at any given time. We welcome all civilian and military Willys vehicles, but caution that we are not into major modifications or build ups - we are a Vintage Willys Club and try to keep things simple. Along these lines, the club has no dues, by-laws or any of the red tape that can get in the way of having fun. You won't find us rock crawling or going on gear-busting, mud-bogging adventures, but we are not afraid to climb hills and ford creeks either. Our philosophy is that we've spent quite a bit of time, effort and money to "restore" these vehicles and it would be a shame to ruin the day through an ill advised stunt. The club tries to provide an array of events throughout the year ranging from parades to campouts, in an effort to encourage attendance.
